Wow. Just…wow. It’s amazing how good that makes the original Fiero, especially the fastback, look.
Quick… what well-known production model is this unusual PISA Jalapeño off-roader based on? (*Hint* - look at its doors, mirror, and windshield).
Hazard a guess, and then click through to the jump for the answer, along with additional images, details, and the link…

According to the Arizona-based kit car company that builds it (“PISA” stands for Phoenix International Sport Automobiles), the Jalapeño is the world’s first (and likely only) Pontiac Fiero-based off road kit.
The conversion reportedly takes around 200 hours to install (including lift kit), and involves lopping off the front 12-inches of the donor Fiero, and undoubtedly involves a few bouts of trimming and cutting, to say nothing of fitting the body and suspension work.
The company also makes a range of more traditional Fiero kit-car rebodies, including less successful-looking packages designed to make the car look like a Chevrolet Corvette or a Lamborghini Diablo. PISA also markets a more original design kit, the Scorpion (shown directly below in red).
